> HVNG (pronounced "Hanging") is a social events discovery and hangout platform for urban Africans, initially live in Lagos, Nigeria, with expansion to Abuja, Port Harcourt, London, Dubai, New York, and Accra.

## What is HVNG?

HVNG helps people discover events, night outs, dinners, drinks, brunch, and adventures near them. Users can match with real people attending the same events, buy tickets and venue vouchers, and post to a city social feed called City Diaries.

There are two user types:
- **Personal users** — discover and join Hangs, buy vouchers/tickets, post to City Diaries, earn Outsyds Silver
- **Business users** — list venues, host events, sell tickets/vouchers, run targeted ad campaigns

## Core Features

### Hangs
A Hang is a social outing — e.g. "cocktails at Bar X on Friday night." Users swipe right to request to join. If the host approves (or auto-approve is on), a Match is created and a private chat opens. Hangs have categories: dining, drinks, brunch, adventure, culture, nightlife, etc.

### Marketplace
Businesses sell event tickets and venue vouchers. Users pay with Outsyds Silver (earned through activity) or by card via Paystack. Super Deals activate only once a minimum number of buyers is reached.

### City Diaries
A social feed of event posts and stories tied to specific cities. Posts expire after 7 days. Users can react (like, laugh, cry, shock), comment, and mention others.

### Outsyds Silver
HVNG's in-app reward currency. Earned by being active — attending events, creating hangs, engaging with the community. Redeemable for vouchers and tickets in the Marketplace.
